office policy.

sometimes my guilty conscience catches up with me.
we are a professional office, but i don't
always dress professional.
i mean, who wears leather shorts and
five inch platforms to the office?
me.
i do.
still, i have to throw in something office appropriate
every once in a while.
but i'm keeping the platforms.

what's your work attire like? do you have a dress code?

(pants, bebe; jacket; calvin klein; tank, f21)

love the grey jacket!! i never followed office dress code either. lol i'd wear skinny jeans in any color but blue to work, and if it was blue, i'd make sure it was so dark, my boss would have to stare to notice... although when my other coworkers tried what i did they always got in trouble haha!

You looks great in the grey, black and pink - the nailpolish and ring makes it really edgy.

Wow! I loooove your jacket with that pink top!

I did have a dress code when I worked as an intern at a law firm...but it was rather strict :p I always wore pencil skirts and kitten heels/flats, with button down shirts tucked in!

We spend a third of out lives at work (at least!). We should be comfortable, happy and sexy in what we wear to the office. I think you look awesome! I love that you always flatter your slender frame.

In my current job, I can wear whatever I want. People still stare, but I take it as a compliment. At my previous one, we had a biz-cas dress code, but I still pushed boundaries. In fact, an old coworker and I would always compare what we were wearing ;)

Very professional. I worked as a VP in a high level finance firm for 11 years. The most conservative industry yet. I kept my suits very very classic but added my own style with trendy shoes and statement jewelry. I had to show through somehow!

This is an excellent work appropriate outfit, that jacket is so great and the wide legged pants are so fantastic. I definitely don't work in an office, my dress code is pretty slack, I'm just not allowed to wear any sort of denim.
Im sad that dress is all sold out in small, but it's a sign to not break my shopping ban!!

I love that jacket! We're pretty casual at work since we have families and kids, but when I meet with a new family I usually dress up a bit more :)

I absolutely love that ring! Amazing. I hated working in a professional setting - so I quit. Now I freelance from home - so anything goes!

I always love your outfits :-)
My dress code at work is very formal (I work in an accountancy firm) so it has to be a suit every day. Woopee.

Haha, no dress code here. Today I'm actually wearing a fluo pink mini, and I get compliments for it. I do work in an office though, but people absolutely love that I bring my own flashy style to the work floor. Lucky me.

Hey, I work at a law firm and am ALWAYS testing the patience of the powers that be with my outfits. Sorry, just can't conform to grey cardigans and pearls and pencil skirts and bad suits! Love your pants!

I think twice before I dress up for college. Or anywhere in this city!
I'm always afraid of being overdressed.

We don't have a dress code (luckily). I can wear shorts and flip flops to the office one day, and a business suit the next. Generally, I stick somewhere in the middle, but it's nice to have the option and to know that I wouldn't feel out of place at either end of the spectrum!

Gorgous look, that jacket is perfection! Can I dress like you when I grow up? lol!

But in all seriousness, I was thinking about you and everyone in Hawaii (and obviously Japan) this morning when they were saying the tsunami alerts were on. So upsetting.

I always think you look very smart and well put together and isn't that the definition of professional!? My new job has asked for smart casual as the dress code until we get our uniforms which I always find a little vague.

This is an awesome outfit - office HAWT!

I wish I could wear leather shorts and platforms to work, but it would be way unsafe /not appropriate as hospital gear.

Staying stylish at work is important for me because when I first started working, I needed to dress "older" because I felt that I would be taken more seriously. (You know, that "you look to young to be working here kind of thing). Now dressing up well makes me feel great and adds to my confidence during the day!

I work in a government departmental library, so technically we have a dress code. But I really don't think anybody would say anything unless I came to work dressed like a street walker.

I used to make the effort of buying a separate work wardrobe, but that's expensive for clothes I only wear at work - and honestly didn't even enjoy wearing.

So I've started buying lots of dresses that I love to bits, but also happen to be work appropriate. I still don't look office-y, but I'm appropriate!
