see thru you.

this is the post that blogger deleted. sorry to have lost all your wonderful comments.

 had an unexpected morning off,
so i did a little drug store shopping.
love coming home with random things i don't really need. if you read my 'about me' to the right, you'll know that i love red vines. surprisingly, i've never bought grape vines. the smell and taste reminded me of grape flavored bubble yum bubble gum...which i used to love. brain was a little confused swallowing something that smelled and tasted like gum.
strange, i know.

i bought this skirt a few months ago, but have never worn it. i love it, but just wish the entire skirt was lined. the fact that it only has mini shorts underneath kind of takes it out of the usual rotation, as i could never wear this to work.
my hope is to eventually line it.
i know denim + leopard is sort of a fashion cliche,
but they just work so well together.

(denim shirt, victoria's secret; skirt, f21)

I love leopard print with denim! even if it is a bit of a cliche!! Perfect :) i don't think lining it would be too terribly hard, good luck with it!!

Oh god, I love this skirt, know that because it only has shorts lined underneath makes it less versatile for you, but it just looks soo good. And the denim looks fabulous with it. They're made for each other

it's such a gorgeous skirt, you should definitely find time to line it to get more mileage out of it :)

That is sooo funny we are wearing the same skirt with a denim shirt neverthless on the same day!
What a coincidence. Looks great on you though.
But, yes the skirt is long right? Yes, you must a bit shorter than me. I am 5'5". I love it though how it never got wrinkled all day long and even the length keeps you warm while the sheerness keeps it airy.
Super cool skirt.

Makes you look like a really cool biker chick! I love that denim on your leopard print skirt! Even if it may be a cliche, it's still just as pretty. :)

I came home from the drug store the other day with an Essie color...Verna...a light green polish and I resisted the temptation to toss in Junior Mints...my favorite from the drug store and the movie!! I love your necklace...so cute!

Oh I love this outfit. I know that it's hard to find slips these days, but it would be easier then sewing in a lining. That way you can have the choice to keep it as sheer or opaque as you want.

I've been on a kick of trying or revisiting old candies and candy bars this week. I had a PayDay and a Caramello so far. I wonder who buy certain candies some times :)
Love the necklace!

I am a fan of red vines.Especially when watching movies but grape vines? I;m not so sure about that. Your skirt however I would have worn already. Love hoe you paired with a jean top an tied it.
Cheers,

Could you not just find a nice slip to wear under the dress but over the little shorts? It'd do that truck until you lined it!

Cel said...

Wasn't that frustrating? At least it was only one post we lost. I still think wear a slip over the shorts but under the skirt is a good idea. You really make want to try out wearing some sort of denim top...

It looks great! I am in love with leopard prints :) The sheer maxi is so now but I understand if you'd like to get more wear out of it by lining it. You can also just get lingerie so you have the option of going sheer or completely covered?
