walking the high tide.

finally a weekend without rain,
and it was hot and muggy.
spent saturday morning walking around in my new (gifted) sketchers shape-ups, while waiting for mini-she. i dislike the look of other shape-up type shoes, but the soles on these aren't too ginormous. in fact, they look like regular shoes. do they work? well, the next day my legs felt a little strange, so they must have worked some rarely-used muscle.
hope to make good use of these shape-ups so that i can hit the beach sans shorts this summer.

headed to sandy beach tide pools in the late afternoon.
tons of hermit crabs and the cutest little fishes.
i really wanted to catch one for mini-he, but was unsuccessful.
hope you all had a wonderful weekend.

You killed it with the hip bag. I <3 it and so envious. Great shots, I can't believe how empty of people the tide pools were.

Love the hip bag! I had some Reebok easy train (gifted) to me which are similar and they do seem to work :)

I would like to get a pair too! Hardly exercise but love to walk. Hope it will help work out these pins.

Cool hip bag! Do you watch "Burn Notice"? Fiona's character wears them.

P.S. Blogger went crazy the other day and deleted a whole lot of comments, so I think that's where your first one went, unfortunately. To answer your question: butter bean hummus is actually much creamier than chickpea hummus, which is cool!

You are surrounded by gorgeous scenery, and I am totally jealous because there are a lot of ugly things here.
And these shoes aren't weird looking at all. I like them. :)

That phrase fanny pack is so strange to me. We used to call them bum bags and it was a long time before I realised americans call bum fanny. For us brits, it's the "front lady parts".
