putt putt.

in past years, the summers have flown by with me at work and the minis at summer school. the new school year would start and i'd wonder what i did (for fun) with the minis.
this summer i made an effort to fill their time off with as many fun activities as possible. from neighborhood play dates, to the beach and pools, to backyard frontyard campouts and picnics, i can truly say we've had a fun-filled summer.

this sunday was no exception.
morning errands.
afternoon slip-n-slide at the neighbor's house.
evening mini golf.

minis in the neighbor's slip-n-slide.
mini-he gets golf lessons from grandpa, so he was pretty good!
i didn't know they had a zip line here...
may have to try that next time.
the 18th hole, which proved to be quite tricky.

That is one of the joys of being a parent. Doing all the Fun kid stuff all over again!

Seeing the slip n slide made me laugh, we did one last summer and I almost killed myself! Some things are just meant for the little ones sometimes, lol!

That is exactly how I feel about this summer! It's winding down and I feel like we did nothing fun. Aaaah, it's really making me wish that I could stay home with them to maximize on the fun factor!

Oh slip-n-slide, nice to see your kids get the nice and SAFE real deal. As kids, my cousins and I went to garage sales, buying up cheap old inflatable mattresses that no longer stayed inflated... we then duct-taped them all together in a long strip and used those with a sprinkler for our slip-n-slide... Good idea, except there was nothing to stop us at the end but dirt and grass and gravel and pain haha...

You seem like the most fun mom ever. Not to mention the most stylish. I bet all of the other moms hate you because you're so damn awesome. And that isn't a bad thing.
P.S. Let's go mini golfing together sometime. You can kick my ass. And then I'll throw the golf clubs in the water and run away.

this reminded me to go there. I already bought a ticket for the zipline (online). we had our company picnic there too more than a year ago but I wasn't able to go.

Great casual outfit!
