two dresses and a burger.

this black dress doesn't get worn as much as it should because of its open back. so, for work, i layered it over a striped bodycon dress. the length of the striped dress was just long enough to peek out of the bottom. it was nice to have
the loose layer on top...it helped to hide
my stomach after this big burger.

if you thought the big mac looked good last week,
it is nothing compared to this burger from kua 'aina.
my usual is a third pound burger with cheese + avocado and
an order of the best skinny fries ever.
their first location was on the north shore,
and we would always stop there after the beach.
they have since opened one in town, five minutes from my office.

Ok, you're right. THIS burger looks Ahmayzing. You can see how the bun was toasted before assembling. And avocado makes everything LOADS better.

Every time I come see you, I get a tiny twinge of jealousy. Not the green monster kind of jealousy, but just a nice little twinge for one thing or another that's so cool about you. lol Today, for instance, I wish I could eat a giant burger and fries like that and still look as amazing as you do! For real, my friend, you look fantastic! And I love what you've done with the two dresses!

Bre said...

Okay that food looks amazing and it's only 5 min from your work, ouch. That is dangerous. On the bright side you are skinny and hot (that dress is awesome on you) so you can afford to eat there. Love that you used a body con dress to make your outfit work appropriate. That white ring is pretty dang amazing as well.
Cheers,
Bre

I love how they look layered together- and I hear you about liking a bit of blouse-iness in the summer, otherwise its almost like being naked sometimes!

brilliant! I have a navy Modcloth dress that is about 3 inches too short on me. I never thought to layer it with a striped skirt. I will definitely be using that trick ASAP.

Nice idea with the dress, looks very cute. I love your Danny's, I am wearing mines on my latest post .... unfortunately I am 5.5 and can't find black or Tan but if I do I will pay "what ever" (what ever I can with out having to sell my car) for them.
Your star cuff is beautiful & your burger is looking so good that I got cravings now and I don't think I have a good burger place anywhere closer than 10 miles away.
