g.i. jane.

i don't think i've seen mesh since the eighties...
and even then, i didn't wear it.
crochet, maybe. mesh, no.
i hate the fussiness that goes along with wearing see-thru tops. it's hard to find the perfect underthings, and if you have tank top straps and bra straps showing, it's just messy. i got this top for christmas and immediately thought g.i. jane. maybe because of the color. but then again, i'm a sucker for anything racerback, so it got the green light.

this weekend we said another farewell to my nephew who went back to college after the holiday break. this time for the long haul...six months. my sister got a little teary eyed towards the end of the night. i guess it doesn't get any easier
letting go of those kids.

(mesh top, gift (similar); pants, bebe; bag, gucci)

Way to bring mesh back girl! I've had a mesh top in my closet forever that I have been trying to figure out how to make work. I love that you kept everything else simple. Love the color too! I don't even want to begin to think about my kids going off to college! :-(

Mesh normally reminds me of a boyfriend I had in high school with the teen-'stache and mesh half-shirts. LOL

But this one is nice, and you've paired it up well.

Very cool tank. Love it.
Thanks for the compliment on the hair. I love how drastic it is.
You could totally go half lighter with the right stylist.

Great necklace!

I really liked the result! Not at all messy! I had some tops a few years ago, that had mesh, but they came with their own under-top, so they looked nice!
Really liked the jewellery you chose!

you are in my brain, woman. just this weekend I was browsing some random site looking for mesh tops. granted, it was to work out in, but now that I've seen yours, when the shopping ban has lifted, I may have to look for one to wear a la OOOOOOOMPH!! Love it!

I agree with you about mesh. I used to have a black tank top but never wore it because it was annoying to find something to fit neatly beneath it. Love the green color of this one and you styled it well. Liking the first pic too :)
