the hunters hunted.

the box was huge, which had me a little worried. i teetered between the short and tall thinking the tall boot might swallow my short legs, but they fit like i expected...a bit roomy, but still absolutely comfortable. i had to throw on a pair of leg warmers to fill up the boot and to keep my legs from slapping the sides, but with jeans tucked in they'll be just fine. the bigger problem will be finding opportunities to wear them.

do you have hunters? how do you wear your rainboots?

Love this whole outfit. I don't have Hunters, but would love to own a pair in red or yellow. Rainboots are much needed in Oregon.

they are super cute! The only rain boots I have were 15 dollar ones from Target, the houndstooth print. They have lasted at least 3 years though!

haha...i'm waiting for the day, believe me! i'll be ready!

i thought they'd be worse, but they are just right if you will be wearing them with pants/jeans tucked into them.

oomph. said...

my first choice was red or dark green, but i got them from gilt and neither of those colors were offered. in my size it was either navy or purple!

oomph. said...

now that's worth it. i've seen some houndstooth printed ones and they were nice!

OMG you and your rain boots = adorableness! Come here we have tons of rain. Ughhh its never ending. Maybe I need to get a pair myself ;) Miss you!

And about the previous post... how dare those mean girls pick on mini-she. That's just so rude! Hope everythings ok now. When I was in elementary I would always get teased too. I hated it but tell mini-she to hang in there, mean girls SUCK!

They're adorable with the dress! You're in too warm of a climate for the welly socks I guess? Those are great.

I have the same color ones, but mine are not hunters. I got mine for $35 at Victoria's Secret 2 years ago. One day I'll get hunters, but for now, mine work just fine ;)
But yes, living in Chicago, rain boots are a MUST! You look amazing in yours! xo

becks, you look awesome and classic. i love the vest with your outfit. thanks for not being upset with all my "advice." i am sure that this tough time for your mini will mold her into a person of impeccable character. btw might you be interested in collaberating on a design with me? i just got a boatload of vintage lace from the gunne sax factory in s.f. and i want to partner with a few of my faves blogger/stylists to co-create a line to sell. i have clara from paquete vista bien on board. she is so nice and is such a fab stylist. think about it. the idea is to partner with blogger and create buzz and drive traffic to my blog ( and sell the pieces.) it's all fairly embryonic but this is what i had in mind when i started the blog over a year ago. think about it. loves D

Love the stripes, Becks! And I can't believe you restrained yourself from giving those little girls a piece of your mind! Bravo, my friend.
And no, I don't have Hunter's. I've kinda just stuck to my Roxy zebra rainboots for these last few years.
