caped.

outerwear is something i don't purchase often with our warm weather, so i was happy to receive this cape from l.a. based clothing company, sugarlips apparel. with the chilly and rainy weather we've been having lately, it couldn't have come at a better time. the material is softer than i expected, and with its bold graphic print and brass button & black trim details, the cape really didn't need much else. i worked with textures instead, pairing it with leather shorts and suede boots.

a co-worker's wife spoils us with treats. the latest was the most delicious bread pudding i've had in a while.
it had a thin layer of custard on the bottom and cherries instead of the usual raisins.
leather shorts, urban outfitters; shoes, enzo angiolini via ideeli (buy))

What a cool cape. Love the bright print.
The baubles are very fun too.
Sorry I have been MIA lately. On top of the new business having laptop issues and switching to MAC has totally slowed me down and I am over the learning curve.

I adore the pattern on that cape, Becks. And I really love how you've worn it with shorts! It's so uniquely you... though I bet it's more for season-appropriateness :)
