cold shoulders.

i finally had the chance to walk around the mall yesterday and found new inspiration for my summer wardrobe. thin, flowy dresses in soft peaches, lavenders and pinks. in the past i've always had a few dresses that were my weekend staples...minis like these at one time, maxis here last summer...but i just haven't been able to put those on recently. the maxis are too long to wear with summer flats and the minis have become too form-fitting for someone who likes to eat (hard to suck in that gut all day!). these loose dresses come in a variety of lengths, some with hi-low hems perfect for showing off pretty slippers. the hard part will be choosing just one.

what are your summer staples?

a sea of pretty dresses.
yami yogurt in natural...my all time favorite.
chocolate with gummy bears for mini-he.
(sadie striped tee via oomph (buy); denim, f21 (similar); shoes, nine west (similar))

[oomph.] is now on facebook.

Can't wait to see which dress you'll choose! I just wish we were actually having a summer... I can't even imagine what hot, sunny weather is like right now after all the rain we've been having! I love your outfit, your jeans are a perfect peachy pink and your necklace is super cute.

Love everything about this outfit, I have a very similar top I love wearing with denim shorts but now I'm keen for our Australian summer so I can pair it with some pastel jeans as you have above - gorgeous!

What a great top Rebecca! I love the navy and peach. Perfect color combo! I have always loved dresses--but I can never do minis. I hate having to pull down and suck in all day too!

I love the way that tee flows! My Little Guy always piles on all kinds of random toppings on his fro yo. lol I always cringe a bit when I look in his cup. =)

I loved your top, and the whole outfit! I usually prefer loose tops for the same reasons! But I'll have to lose some extra kilos in the end!

thats a pretty outfit- I particularly like the top. I tried frozen yoghurt for the first time the other day (it isn't really a big thing over here, certainly not as big as it seems over America) and I really enjoyed it. I did eat it with a slice of millionaire's shortcake...so I missed out the health factor. But the taste was ALL there!

i think i love it more that yogurtland or menchies, lol. but only one store left on the island!

Love cut-outs! Simple but nice :) I love dresses too during the summer and lately running around with kids, the longer ones just don't fit the occasion ;D!
