p is for pink.

accident update.
turns out the guy who hit me didn't have insurance, didn't have a driver's license, and gave a bogus phone number.
total. buzzkill.
adjuster came to look at the car, and it's looking like a total loss...meaning the cost to repair the car (which is estimated at over $10,000) is more than the car is worth. now i'm forced to buy a car that i really can't afford right now.
double. buzzkill.

i love these boyfriend shorts. they are so comfortable;
i want to get them in every color.
oh, wait...i can't...gotta buy a car instead.

the best halloween treat in the bunch...

that's awful! one thing I've learnt from those irritating marketers that stop you in the middle of the street to sell you something is to always call the number on the spot to check that the number given is real. hope everything works out for you but at least you are safe and still looking so fab! :)

OMG!!!!!! What a drag indeed! I had a guy smash my car and take off in the middle of the night and in the middle of an intersection one time. I had to pay for everything. It sucked. I totally understand. I'm sorry!

That's just awful. My car was plowed into parked in the parking lot while I was in Walmart shopping (appropriately, it would be Walmart, right?) Well, apparently he was "impaired" and drove off to the Kroger and hit a bunch of cars there too. Luckily someone got his license plate, though it wasn't his car. Long story short, I had to pay my "hit and run" deductible and my insurance company paid to repair it. Lo and behold about a year later I got a call from his insurance company that they had finally tracked him down and we did get reimbursed. But it caused such a headache all around. I'm sorry you are having to deal with it and maybe, just maybe he'll get his one day.

Oh and this same car, when I first got it, somebody egged it overnight and hit it so hard I had to have the damn thing repainted - which meant I had to pay for a rental, etc. People suck sometimes!

thanks, kim. there really should be some kind of repercussion...i think all he was cited for was driving w/o license!

OMG. That's so sick! I curse that guy! Tsk. On the brighter side, it's good you're safe and okay except for the cost of buying a new car. Oh well.

Love this outfit, though. The shorts, shirt and sneakers. <3
