snip snip.

i hate the hassle of return shipping, so i have quite a collection of things that need some kind of alteration. this dress looked amazing on the models, but when it arrived, i found it to be an awkward calf length which made me look really short. three years later, tired of shuffling it around in my closet, i finally snipped it...took about eight inches off the bottom so that it hit just above my knees. the attached sash can be tied and wrapped in different ways, but the oomph-worthy cuff detail was the reason i bought this.

  7. I wish I were brave enough to fix not-perfectly fit/tailored clothes! I always have a fear that I'll mess up. But what you did looks great! Fantastic job.
