lukewarm.

yesterday, i mentioned i was visiting the new forever 21 mega store that just opened up here. the experience was good and bad. the store was huge with tons of nooks and rooms inside of rooms...i actually got lost.

a good chunk of the third floor was filled with stripe-y things, but i limited myself to only one striped purchase. that made the rest of the floor null and void to me. there was also a good selection of black and gray things, which i browsed, but stuck to my mission for colored things. the remaining sections of spring pastels and florals were my last hope...but nothing oomph-worthy. the one item i was excited about, a pair of lavender shorts, was too big. also came home to find that one of the buttons on my pin-striped sailor jeans was missing. (oops...ok, two striped purchases).

i turned the camera over to my eight year old niece so that i could shop...so, here's the day through her eyes.

just a peek at a few of my purchases...not too much color, but at least no black.

ugh, caught with stripes again.
