fade to black.

it's so hard to photograph black.
all the oomph-worthy details seem to fade away.
i've had to nix several outfit posts already because the photos didn't do them justice.
when i bought this sweater for the store, it was shown buttoned up and belted...so i've always worn it buttoned up and belted, like a dress, over bodycons or tights.
it's thin and light-weight with drapey lapels...none of which you can see in the photos.
but, i never thought to just leave it open.
it's the perfect work-appropriate solution for this backless dress.

(dress, armani exchange, simone sweater, available @ oomph (email me); belt, coach)

GIVEAWAY COMING SOON!

  6. There is nothing quite as chic as layered black. I know we're missing a lot of the detail, but I still think it looks incredibly becoming on you :)
