heart of the ocean.

this glass heart necklace was a gift from my sister. it's so bright, especially against the yellow...the first thing that came to mind was the blue heart diamond. the waterfront and weather seemed titanically fitting. the wind was relentless, whipping my hair into a tangled mess, and it was so bright that i couldn't help but squint.

these jeans were in the "donate" bag because they have become irritatingly low, low-rise. you don't want to be behind me when i bend down...trust me, not sexy. i do find it funny that not too long ago i used to rock these with cropped tops and confidence. do our bodies really change that much or is it our perception of ourself that changes? is there any type of clothing you feel you can't wear anymore?

    This is gorgeous! Great idea to pair the lowrise jeans with the long top and blazer.
    I agree, it's so funny, even last year I was all about the low-rise jeans and low-waisted things in general, but now I find them hard to wear. I love the "freedom" from wearing high-waisted pants and skirts, and not having to worry about buttcracks and muffin tops! Haha ;)

    that necklace is so pretty! And yes, I feel like I am in this in between stage and that I am becoming too old for some of my clothes. I forget that I am 23 and not 17 :/ Thankfully all of the wonderful fashion bloggers out there have helped me a lot.

    That necklace is gorgeous! Love the way it pops with the yellow. Every time I see you in those shoes it makes me want to run out and get some immediately - lol!

    I absolutely can't wear super low rise denim anymore - as I get older some things just don't feel right anymore. Sad, but true :o)

    And I think I can hardly ever wear formal trousers because I have a flat butt and it looks so shabby on me. :(

    Aww definitely very titanic-esque...especially right by the sea!

    I think change comes from a bit of both - actual change and perceived change...I for one feel like my body and my personality have changed ten fold, but others would probably disagree!

    Loving the yellow and grey, its look good on you. I feel I can't really wear short skirts any more, because my legs are not as thin. I know this sounds funny, but I hate it when I walk and my chubby legs wobble, lol. Love Sia x

    you look so crisp and clean... that is a beautiful necklace and i love the color scheme here.. you know, i definitely have a ton of clothes that i cant wear anymore and its because my choice in clothing has changed/the perception of myself AND because i cannot psychically get into them anymore! i gave a lot of them away to my baby sister :)
