this is getting depressing.
yesterday black.
today brown.
what's tomorrow...white?
followed by gray??
found this dress at a store in l.a. it's pretty basic but has some cute details. uneven hem, v-cut in the front and back, and spaghetti straps that tie at the shoulders. also has a drop waist and comes with its own sash-like belt, but today i hiked it up, tucked the extra material in, and skinny-belted it
at the waist.
(dress, random l.a. store; jacket, macy's; shoes, nine west)
The material of the dress seems very soft. Quite elegant ;)

Neutral is HOT! Besides, the shape of the dress (as you've pointed out) gives it character, and you've added the perfect accessories. Neutral not blah but WOW!
ReplyDeleteI really like uneven hem lines on skirts and dresses. Now that I've said that, I must get more of them for my wardrobe!
ReplyDeleteI get through colour phases as well! But it's still a great look :) xo

ReplyDeletesuper cute, I love it! That jacket is fabulous & your nails really add color to the outfit. I think you look great!
ReplyDeleteI think this is a cry for colour! This outfit is so wonderful though, caramel and cafe-au-lait. A colour is only a boring brown if you let it be ;)
ReplyDeleteI can never get enough of neutrals, especially when it's done as well as you've done it! The dress is fabulous and the addition of the darker jacket and belt make it fun!
