a common misconception people have is that
they can't wear maxi skirts if they are short.
my response to that is, "yes, you can!"
in fact, i think maxi skirts make me look and feel taller.
they are surprisingly versatile and
work for all shapes and sizes.

at 5'-2", the key for me is a floor length skirt that almost touches the ground...no matter how high or flat my shoes are. anything higher, especially if it shows my ankles,
makes me look short.
the skirt should be the "skinny" part of the outfit to keep that lengthy illusion, so nothing too fitted up top.
then, accessorize! i usually scale down my necklaces and load up on the ring and bracelets.

it really is just a balancing game, but evvvryone can play!
come on, show me your maxis!
