TRESemme Fresh Start Dry Shampoo. an [oomph.] discovery.

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of TRESemmé. All opinions are 100% mine.

as someone who always believed in more is better,
i religiously washed and conditioned my hair everyday to keep it shiny and healthy. little did i know that i was getting the opposite result. i learned that daily washing can actually strip your hair of the natural oils that keep it healthy.
i'm starting to take cues from fellow bloggers who swear by taking days off from washing their hair. it's these same bloggers who have beautiful, lustrous hair. now, our hot, humid weather makes it difficult to skip a day of washing; instead, i am exploring the concept of dry shampooing once a week.

TRESemme has come out with a complete line of dry shampoos to revive your style's look and feel on days you skip a shampoo. their unique formulas absorb excess oil, remove odors, and rejuvenate your hair without a drop of water. plus, the citrus extracts infused in every product leave hair with a clean and fresh scent.

the full line includes:
  • Strengthening Dry Shampoo: The formula, with B12 vitamins and keratin, helps strengthen hair and leaves it full of healthy body.
  • Volumizing Dry Shampoo: The formula, with mineral clay and citrus, removes oil while injecting hair with salon-gorgeous volume.
  • Smoothing Dry Shampoo: The formula, with Vitamin H & Silk Proteins, refreshes your straight style by removing excess oil, impurities, and odor to ensure your smooth look lasts.
  • Moisturizing Waterless Foam Shampoo: The formula, with Witch Hazel, Citrus and Aloe Vera, refreshes your hair by removing excess oil, impurities, and odor while moisturizing hair.

here's a few tips on how to get the best results from TRESemmé Fresh Start Dry Shampoo:
  • do shake vigorously before use and in between spray bursts for best results.
  • do lift sections of dry hair and spray lightly at roots.
  • don’t spray it like hair spray (all over and continuously).
  • do leave in for 1-2 minutes.
  • do use fingertips or a brush to distribute produce evenly.
  • if clogging occurs, remove nozzle and rinse the nozzle under warm water, then reattach.

  1. i love this shampoo! its an essential for quick excess oil-removing in my hair!! i use it esp when i mistakenly add too much oil to my hair (which is very often) and it keeps it smelling fresh and clean without drying it too much

  2. I feel the same way Becks. Living in a tropical Country doesn't skip me from washing my hair. I just noticed that my hair gets dry. For now I try to skip from a day of shampoo/conditioner then the next day just conditioner itself.I can say that it's okay that way.

Anyway thanks for this post. I'll be glad to put it on my notes.:)

  6. I need to try dry shampoo again. I had a bad experience where it looked like I had dandruff all.day.long. Embarrassing. This product sounds really good, though, so I should give it another shot.

  10. I should check out that foam shampoo. I'm totally INTO all things foamy these days...

I don't wash my hair everyday. I like to skip a day, but if I need to feel a little fresh after the gym, I wet my hair and just condition.
