on the weekends, i live for breakfast.
love, LOVE breakfast.
i'm not even talking waffles and omelettes and
eggs benedict and all that jazz.
just the usual breakfast.
but it's the one meal i don't have time for during the week. i usually slap together a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for the road. however, on the weekends, i love to indulge in several bowls of cheerios or oatmeal squares...you know how you keep adding cereal to finish up the milk? or slow-cooked steel cut oatmeal topped with fruit and a little milk. buttered toast sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar. plain greek yogurt with fresh fruit and granola. raisin bagel thins with
strawberry cream cheese.
plus, flax seed or wheat germ sprinkled over everything.
fortunately, the minis have been conditioned to eat this stuff.
now that they are in school, i have no control over what they eat during the day, so i feel good knowing that
i at least gave them a good start.

Oh wow! That bodysuit is rockin! Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. A banana or apple is a favorite of ours for running out the door for school or work.

I eat breakfast EVERY day. Surrsly. It's the best. I go in phases of what I eat, and make it until I'm sick of it. Sometimes it's poached eggs on toast, sometimes it's oatmeal with apples and cinnamon, sometimes it's huevos rancheros (YUMMMM).

i totally agree with you about weekend breakfast. i love all the things you listed on the weekend, but my favorite is brown rice with chicken, broccoli and cheese. it's seriously the best. great outfit!

Usually I do just cereal (Cheerios or if I'm totally bad Crunch Berries) or peanut butter toast or toaster strudel. Gosh I love breakfast! And don't even get me started on breakfast for dinner nights! Yum!

On workdays, I just eat some bananas and corn flakes with milk. But on weekends I usually bust out the eggs and make something tasty like a sunny side up breakfast pizza or a pesto salami fried egg sandwich or ham and scrambled eggs... I just love eggs.

Aaaaaaah, I know exactly what you mean. The only decent breakfast that is worth mentioning is the one in the weekends. Awesome shoes, I never wear sneaker-ish shoes but I love yours. Never seen anything like that before!

Ooh, that looks delicious!! And it's so important to get the kids used to eating healthy when they're little. I've done the same thing, but with snacks. I've gotten them hooked on cucumbers and carrots and raisins and fruit. Man, my kids LOVE fruit. I've kind of been slacking in the breakfast department lately though... =/

The stripe tops is a beauty. Regarding breakfast just starts the day with brewed coffee, a bread plus a choice of spread that I'm in the mood to eat.A slice of fruit will complete the meal. But for my little ones I usually prepare something with rice,egg or even waffles, sometimes as per request.ahh sometimes it's really hard to think of what could be serve on a daily basis.:)
