how does your garden grow.

This post brought to you by Whitney Farms. All opinions are 100% mine.

one of my greatest childhood memories was spending the summers at my grandparents' house, running around in my grandma's huge garden with my cousins. i especially loved picking strawberries and eating them right off the plant.

today, we have our own garden. it isn't as big as grandma's,
but enough to have enjoyed lettuce, pineapples, green beans, potatoes, carrots, collared greens, oranges, tomatoes,
papayas, and avocados.

we try to eat healthy, and i love that i'm able to give the minis fresh foods straight from the garden, without any chemicals or pesticides. i know several of my readers share my interest in gardening, so i wanted to introduce you to
Whitney Farms®, a full line of 100% natural organic plant food and organic soil with no additives, nothing artificial,
just ingredients from the earth.

  6. My mom always has the most amazing garden, I should really help out with it, but I'm rarely at home when she's working on it. Fresh veggies and fruit are sooo good

  7. I had no idea you were into gardening! That is so cool that you grow your own fruits and veggies.

I unfortunately do not have a green thumb and am afraid I would kill everything. I killed my husband's cactus that he had since 1st grade! I don't know anyone who has ever killed a cactus, lol! Heather

  14. I love that you have your own garden! I really want to build myself one when we don't live in an apartment :/ It's so great that you are teaching your kids where "real" food comes from. I swear some kids think that McDonald's is the only food source :(

  26. Hello! This post brings back my childhood memories. When we move three years ago that's the time I also lost my garden.I remember having also tree plant like lemon, atis and avocado planting from scratch. Still looking forward to have a garden again on my own. This photos is such an inspiration and glad you do gardening with your kiddos.

  27. I would love to have a garden, but all we have is a patio. Growing veggies in pots is difficult when you live by the ocean - they dry out fast.
