i don't know about you, but i always get eggstra eggcited about easter. this year, it came too fast and i wasn't fully prepared, but we did have a little bit of an egg hunt around the house and indulged in eggnormous amounts of food and candy. i always like to see what kind of new candy they come out with. last year, i was introduced to edible easter grass and bought some this year. it's so fun to eat. mini-he had fun coloring eggs. his final egg was swirled and swirled in every color for a good 20 minutes until it was an ugly brown. but, by morning it was kind of pretty. all the scratches (from his stirring) allowed the pretty colors to show thru. it's quite a
speggtacular masterpiece, i'd say...compared to mine.
what's your favorite part of easter?
(house of harlow silver antler ring via gilt)
(skirt, mark (pleated - on sale + extra 30% off!!); top, old navy)
Love the outfit, esp the cute little clutch! You're right, that egg is pretty speggtacular :)

Yeah we had a couple of those brown eggs too :o). She actually cracked most of them just putting them (not so gently) into the dye. LOL! It was a fun time, glad yours was too!
ReplyDeleteyup, brown cracked eggs are a given!
DeleteI have a jar full of Easter candy sitting on the counter, and twice today, my two year old took me by the hand, led me to the counter, and just smiled at me. She knows, if she just asks for a piece of candy, I'll tell her know, but if she's all cute about it, the candy is probably hers. Rotten little thing...
ReplyDeleteI love the teal color of the blouse, and I think that clutch, with all of its pretty colors, might be one of my favorites!
Haha my favourite part of Easter right now is how many egg words you created. I love it. And the colour of your blouse. Gorgeous.

ReplyDeleteAmazing clutch!
ReplyDeleteHere in Greece we celebrate Easter the coming Sunday and this one is a really religious week. My favorite part is painting eggs and of course the food. It's the holiday with the best traditional food here
oh that looks like loads of fun! I cooked a big roast dinner for a bunch of friends- was awesome. Couldn't eat chocolate though as on Atkins before my holiday in May, so I had to make do with a big lump of cow!
ReplyDeleteThe best thing about Easter for me is the food, and the dressing up! As smugnificent said above, we celebrate Easter this Sunday in Greece, and we eat traditional food.
ReplyDeleteI liked mini-he's egg. But yours is pretty too!
