i received a couple of phone calls notifying me that a long time friend had passed away. he was only in his thirties. i won't get into the details, but just want to say...if you feel tangled up in any way, overwhelmed by your feelings or life in general, talk to someone. anyone. and if you know someone who seems tangled in their emotions, be a friend. be there for them. listen to them.
i retired this chain necklace a while ago because a couple of the chains were broken. the whole thing is a tangled mess, and i haven't had the patience to untangle it. well, after fussing with it for a bit, i decided that i like it better this way.
i even tangled a few more of the chains. rebel.

I'm sorry to hear about your friend, so easy to get caught up in things and not be there at time, so true to just be there. You look beautiful. It's been awhile but i wanted to say thank you for reaching out awhile back, things got crazy and needed a blogging break, but it meant a lot that you took the time to check in. You are a gem.

An old friend of mine passed away recently as well, conceding to a brain tumour at the age of 23. :( It was so devastating for me so I completely, wholeheartedly know how you must feel. I hope your heart is full of fond memories for your friend and that you cherish all the times you had together. I didn't have the chance to say goodbye to mine but I hope you had the opportunity to say yours. :)
On a brighter note, you look absolutely stunning! The floral maxi is just the most perfect length and colour and I imagine it would be perfect for those beautifully sunny days when you just want to slip on something with absolute ease and still look effortlessly gorgeous!

On a happier note—if it's even appropriate—I love your rebel-ism! The chains look good all messed up together.
I'm so sorry to hear about your friend, that is s hard to deal with. Way too young. I get so frustruated when people won't talk to other's about how they're feeling and try to deal with it on their own and bottle it up. It doesn't work, I gaurentee you feel better after talking to someone!!
