with project deadlines fast approaching, work has been super stressful this week. luckily, may has been good to me. i was able to get out and exercise a couple of times, my good friend moved back home, and it's my birthday month. not that that means anything, but the babysitter (aka mom) tends to be a bit more cooperative around this time.
yesterday after work, my friend took me out in his two-man canoe to paddle and catch some waves. it's so peaceful out in the ocean at that time. then we headed in and had cocktails on his deck, which has an amazing view of the beach, and finished off the night with some steaks on the grill. it was the perfect way to de-stress after the day i had at work. i'm paying for it today with sore arms and ribs, but like i always say...no pain, no gain.

love the pants, i have something similar, but it isn't as baggy so it tends to make my legs look big. i'm still trying to nail down the top to wear with it. i guess it's a process!!

I'm so jealous of all you outdoor activities, I'm always so much more active at/around the ocean. I've been really struggling to get out and just exercise and I know it's because Im so much more dedicated and motivated when I have an exercise buddy and I don't have one here. Stinks!
