two short weeks.

hope everyone enjoyed their 4th of july holiday.
on tuesday night, the neighborhood moms decided to go walking after the kids went to bed. so at 9pm, we set off for what i thought would be a quick walk around a few blocks. two hours later, we had walked the entire town. these mamas don't
mess around. and how did we end the walk?
with a glass of wine, of course.

unfortunately, i woke up sick as a dog on the 4th.
spent the entire day in bed. and the poor minis...mini-he literally sat on the bed the entire day watching and waiting for me to get up. fortunately [although heavily medicated] i was able to get out of bed long enough to take them
to see the fireworks.

the best thing about this middle-of-the-week holiday?
two short weeks.
happy friday!

    It was rainy for my 4th so there wasnt too much celebration for me. I'm glad you were able to take the mini's out for a little fireworks even though you were feeling bad. You look great in these pictures! Love the colors in this outfit.

    Sorry about your illness. Cute outfit.

    Did you hear what happened in San Diego? They accidentally set off their entire firework show at once. All 20-minutes worth of fireworks went up in one big explosion. Spectators were shocked and then disappointed that the show lasted only 10 seconds.

    i LOVE that top! it's such a great color and love all the details. you really pair everything so well!

    my sister and i are not the same size. she's waaaayyyy taller :) but she claimed she would wear my dress as soon as it arrived and then bring it to me when she comes in August or September.

    i will be coming out to HI in October!!! maybe we can do a blogger meet up!!! oh and i LOVE my stars and stripes cut offs. i totally forgot to do a photo of the back. they're cute. there are stars on the entire back (like that one leg) except on the pockets!

    love walking it is my new favourite way to exercise! Shame you felt poorly after yours, more to do with the wine than the walk though I expect :) the colour of this top with the colour of the skirt really suits you, lovely sort of citrus colours :) 44

    So sorry you were sick on the 4th. I was sick on the day we took my son to Disneyland for his b-day and it was awful. Know the feeling. The walk does sound fun though.
