this is the birthday weekend for my family...mom, dad, niece, brother-in-law...all in a row. we have one big lunch planned for saturday, but i know we will have mini celebrations for each person on their actual birthdays. that means a whole lotta cake.
i must have a thing with wearing my cargo vest with stripes because i've done it here, here, and here.
maybe it's coincidence, or maybe it's because it seems
to make the stripes pop. either way, i like it.

that's a lot of celebrating! my family is similar too, we have 2 days that have a bunch all on the same day. 1 day has 3 and the other day has 5 with 1 the day before & another the day after. it's crazy! but we get a lot of cake too! that's the best part! gotta celebrate! love the outfit! the colors really pop!

Yum...cake! This nice thing about cake is that you can freeze some for later too...I do this all the time, otherwise I'd OD on it!
