the downside to photographing mirrored sunglasses?
your photographer [and whatever it is they are doing] is visible in your pictures. at one point i told mini-she that the camera needed to be lower, so she widened her stance. lower, i said.
so, with her legs still in a wide stance, she sunk down
into an awkward squat, took a few photos and said:
"you know i can see me, right?"
huh?
"you know you can see me, right?"
what?
"in your glasses! you can see me in your glasses!"
oh! then i guess you shouldn't squat like that!
and since mini-she loves to get herself in the pictures, it takes some strategy on my part, like looking down or slightly off to the side, to keep her silly poses out of my glasses.
i'm interested in a juice cleanse for me and mini-she. looking around at whole foods, i was surprised to find that they are $10 a pop...and how many do you have to drink a day? guess that's what you pay for convenience. what are your thoughts on a juice cleanse? have you tried it before? any recommendations?
chicken quesadilla with guac and sour cream + chips and salsa.
try these:
How cute that mini she was taking your photos. I take my own and always notice the tripod in mine. Lol woops! We've been juicing for a while and we love it! I had a bunch of recipes of our faves on my blog on Friday!
ReplyDeleteFunny story about the "reflection" in your aviators! I haven't tried a sustained juice cleanse. I know one January I went out and purchased all the veggies I needed to make a juice cleanse and the veggies cost me $10.
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty purse. I wish I had the energy and motivation to personal style blog, but I don't so much anymore. I'd rather just admire other peoples' style from afar or from their blogs...And chips and salsa seem to make my heart very happy whenever I do allow myself to have them! -Jess L
ReplyDeleteYou are adorable! I loove your outfit. And, I'm so with you on the juice cleanse. I would love to do one, but holy cow it's expensive!
ReplyDeleteThe color on the purse is so pretty! Love the glasses too!
ReplyDeleteI love the color of your pants, and the pop of color from the bag is perfect!
ReplyDeleteOh gosh, this makes me miss all my juice cleansers from the US! We are seriously lacking them here in Australia. It looks seriously delicious ... as do you!

Lovely colours, I am especially drawn to the amazing bright bag.
ReplyDeleteBecks, that mint and black looks so awesome together! I want that top and your jeans AND your sandals! HaHaHa LOL at your daughter. Yes, that is the downside of mirrored glasses. She is too funny! I juice, but I never tried a cleanse. I looked at some companies and it seemed they had 5-7 bottles a day. Sometimes for a 3 day cleanse and others for a 5 day cleanse. One blogger said she got sick and wouldn't do it again. Really look into it before doing anything. You look great and eat right! Now I want a quesadilla.

I love your outfit. Those mint pants are so pretty and mirrored aviators are currently on my wishlist.
ReplyDeleteI have never done a juice cleanse before. Sometimes they seem interesting to me but I usually decide they would be too difficult for me to follow. I am currently very interested in clean eating though. I have been trying to do a little research on it.

You look fantastic, and your hair is amazing! I know what you mean about the lenses...but they are so pretty! ;)

aww I love your spontaneous laugh in the 2nd pic! :) I was wondering before who helped you take your photos now I know haha...

Gotta love mirrored sunnies... I don't really have many issues, since I tend to not wear sunglasses/stand in front of reflective surfaces for my photos. I love your bag and top! I don't know anything about juice cleanses, but I do know that the price of Odwallas makes me sad. They're so good, but soooo expensive.

Cute post!!
ReplyDeleteI've done the master cleanse a bunch of times. It's a mix of water, fresh lemon juice, cayenne pepper& maple syrup. You only drink this juice mix, non caffine tea & water. You also do a salt water flush. It doesn't taste that bad. Minimum days is 10, maximum days is 40!(serious, people do it for that long) It's a lot cheaper than buying those juice cleanses at the store.
I've been thinking of getting a Ray Ban mirrored sunnies but I still haven't found the shade that I like. Yes, it's kind of tricky to take pictures with the mirrored sunnies! =D
ReplyDeleteAbout the cleansing juice, I remembered this mean ass juice my mom made for me when I was staying with her after my surgery. That mean ass juice helps my trip to the washroom like 4x a day?! Way too healthy... I remembered she blended apples, added some green tea and honey and added oats too. Super healthy.
Hahaha, that made me laugh, how cute is she? She does great pictures.
ReplyDeleteI have never had a cleanse juice but at that price I think I will go with the "water cleanse".
Love your wedges, they look vary comfy, love the color block and the single strap at the front.
