the elbow patch jacket.

i went crazy for elbow patches last year, and i still love them. even better when they are on a classic tweed jacket. this jacket from Patty's Closet [Windward Mall] is a great alternative...it looks like tweed but isn't tweed, making it do-able for the warmer temps we have here.

over the weekend, my friend and i hosted a small holiday shopping event with a few vendors...thirty-one bags, [oomph.], anuhea designs, island keepsakes & island sea salts. there was chocolate and cheese fondue among other things, and an avon beauty bar with tons of samples to try. after the event, we hung out for wine tasting and an amazing steak dinner.

    I'm a big fan of elbow patches too, but they tend to end up in the wrong place on my long arms! Your jacket is adorable though; I agree that elbow patches are best on tweedy pieces.

    How gorgeous is this outfit! I just love blazers/jackets with elbow patches, and that bag is amazing! A fantastic outfit from head to toe!

    I need that bag! Love the outfit as usual. I love wine tasking as well. Once I went with my hubby who doesn't drink or like the taste of wine and ended up drinking double of everything and getting drunk lol. good times :)
