fall has finally arrived here on the islands...this week i actually felt chilly in bed and needed my blankets. and while we'll never pack away the shorts in hawaii, there is a way to transition into fall by pairing shorts with a blazer or light jacket.
it's been another wet and rainy week here, and while some rain may be good, too much can be bad for crops. i went to the farmer's market this weekend hoping to pick up my usual kale salad ingredients, and there was none. zilch. nada. because of the rain.
do you frequent your farmer's markets?
what summer items are you transitioning to fall?
early morning trips to the farmer's market always end with breakfast.
mornings at pier 38.

ReplyDeleteThe Farmer's Market is my daughter and I's favorite activity on Saturday mornings. I love taking her!
ReplyDeleteGreat blazer with the shorts also! Love the slides as well!
It still felt somewhat summerlike in NYC recently and then October hit and so did the fall chill. So envious that you get to rock shorts right now. I've actually looking forward to wearing some of my dresses and skirts with tights.
