hunger pains.

the rain will not let up here.
crazy downpours throughout the day.
apparently, these thunderstorms are happening in your
neck of the woods, too?
been hearing about them around the blogosphere
and on twitter as well.

luckily, the rain let up just long enough for us to run a few errands and pick up some last minute mother's day gifts. i really should be getting to bed because the entire family is having breakfast...at 8am. this is what we get for being so last minute in making our reservations.
the place we are going to is known for their
"mac daddy pancake"...some insanely huge pancake that could really feed a family. i need to see it for myself.
getting hungry now.
i think i heard my stomach growl.

    I don't mind a good downpour every now and then, so then we don't have a drought and restrictions on water use.
