after dinner with family on saturday, we took a peek in old navy since our car was parked in front of the store. nothing really excited me, but i had a few gift cards, so i grabbed a few things (most of which were on clearance) and headed for the checkout. four gift cards later, i still had to pay. when i got home, i noticed that the price for this shirt was originally $29, red tagged at $25 and called clearance.
hardly a clearance price, if you ask me.
i love the shirt, nonetheless...it's one of those collared, button down types that i like, sheer-ish but not see thru,
and super bright.
mediterranean pasta salad...orzo, artichoke, feta cheese,
sun dried tomatoes, olive oil.
(denim, express; top & belt, old navy (buy))
and it looks fab with those jeans becks! gosh, i can't believe they even considered it a clearance price.

ReplyDeletethis color looks great on you!! love the outfit!!
ReplyDeletethat's not clearance! what are they thinking? they need to change the sign to sort of 15% off?
LHH
I love this look! The orange blouse and the wide legs are simply stunning on you!

The colour of this blouse is so wonderful!! It's kind of crazy that it was 25 and called clearance? That's ridiculous! It looks lovely nonetheless, and I adore that studded bracelet

I hate that- you get excited about clothes because they are on clearance, and tricked into buying it when really its only like a dollar cheaper.
ReplyDeleteI love that shirt and those flared jeans! You look so retro chic!

ReplyDeleteUgh! Annoying! That is def not a clearance price. This is why I haven't bought those amazing bright blue pants I keep seeing at Target marked down to $22.99 from $29.99. On the plus side, I really love this bright orange blouse! And those flared jeans are really amazing and very flattering on you!

Oh they shirt really is nice. I need more orange in my wardrobe, but I can't find nice orange pieces. I stepped into ON a few days ago and was kinda disappointed at their clearance section a bit. I mean, they had some pieces that were really marked down, but most of it was just a few dollars off. I mean, Cmon now, Old Navy!

And that's why I shop at thrift stores. For the price of one item, I can usually get three or four. It's a great colour though, so bright and fun. That salad is making me hungry...
ReplyDeleteyou always look so pretty! I love how this look is styled head to toe! ;) xo

ReplyDeleteAdoring the orange juice top with those jeans! The leopard is always a great choice! Have a great weekend!!
