haste makes waste.

the idea of this opaque blouse with sheer sleeves was perfect.

i love to wear fur vests over pretty blouses, and being able to eliminate one extra layer of underthings is always a plus with our warm weather. even though it was several sizes too big,

it was the last one on the rack,

so i grabbed it thinking i could make it work.

months later, it has found a permanent spot in the back of my closet. the shoulders hang six inches off my shoulder and look funny peeking out from under a vest, and the sleeves are irritatingly too long.

such a shame...this one may have to go to the marketplace.

plants vs zombies.

are you in the know?

all the cool kids are doing it.

i'm hooked on mini-she's game, plants vs. zombies.

at first, i thought it was the biggest waste of time. ever.

basically, zombies are trying to get into your house and

eat your brains, so you plant plants and other

obstables in your yard to ward them off.

mini-he wanted to try, and while i usually just let him fiddle, i found myself "helping" him fight off the zombies. next thing mini-she knew, i had created my own player

and surpassed her on the levels.

i didn't mean to, but the zombies keep comin' at-cha!

i decided to throw all my ziggedy zag stuff at you all at once.

no more after this.

saying goodbye is hard to do.

as i write this, my dog, bo, will be going to sleep...forever.

he is a 15-yr old terrier-chow mix.

i swear he has/had nine lives.

i bought him as a puppy in colorado.

he lived in the snow.

rode the airplane back home to hawaii.

stayed in quarantine for three months.

survived two dog fights with foxy brown,

resulting in one surgery,

and has since been dealing with liver failure,

among other things.

yet, you'll still find him at the dinner table every night begging for food.

my hope is that bobo will still be there when i get home.

that the family reconsidered and decided to care for him

a little while longer...
