i have a super-duper busy weekend ahead...

i'm just hoping i have time to squeeze everything in.

we are going trunk or treating tonight and i have yet to put together costumes, and then tomorrow morning we are volunteering at mini-she's school's open house, then booking it to town for her math and reading class, and sunday mini-he has a get-together in the morning, and then i have to shop for halloween stuff and prepare the kids' goodie bags for school, but not before we decorate the yard and house...including carving the pumpkins we bought at the pumpkin patch, and this is also the last weekend before mini-she's birthday on tuesday so i'll need to sneak away at some point to get her present, and find time to take photos for a fun day of pink project taking place on sunday.

my latest craving is simple oversized tees.

i recently saw a picture of a loose white tee, cut up on the sides with a small navajo inspired print on the front. can't find the picture, but i can't stop thinking about it either. i was saving this black tee to make this one...as soon as i can figure out how and what to use for the cross. suggestions welcome. in the mean time, i widened the neck, chopped off the bottom, and fringed the sleeves to satisfy this morning's craving for something similar to the vision of the white tee

in my mind.

many of you had kind words for the baby bird.

sadly, it died.

i'm not sure what possessed me to buy this blanket sweater last year for those winter months which never came. it looked good on the 5'-9" model. but then again, what doesn't look good on a

5'-9" model? i wore it out of the house a few times, but it's just too hot here.

on this day, i was just playing around with my camera and the fringes, but you can see how i actually wore it here.

there once was a person in my life who

used to always buy me t-shirts.

not sure why, because i never used to wear t-shirts.

i'm pretty finicky about my tees, but i generally like them oversized or at least loose-fitting.

anyways, this tee kind of says it all.

it's scary all the crap junk food we've been eating lately.

and the rainy weather has not been conducive to

our work out schedule either.
