paniolo country.

this year we went to a new pumpkin patch
at waimanalo country farms.
they actually harvest sweet corn there, but clear out several acres in october and bring in pumpkins from the other pumpkin patch that actually grows pumpkins for us to buy!
i wasn't too impressed, but mini-he enjoyed it.
i went for the lemonade.
grandma went for the pumpkins.
mini-he only cared about climbing on the tractor.
mini-she just wanted to leave and eat lunch somewhere.
kids.

have you been to your pumpkin patch?

feeding the animals. mini-she was freaked by this goat's eyes.
i'd be more freaked by this tongue!
picking our pumpkins.
yummy lemonade in jars.
we had to wait forever for the "hay" ride.
wait, where's the hay??
view from the cornfields. recognize that island?
mini-he was in heaven on this huge tractor.
a run thru the corn maze on the way out.

We just went to a pumpkin patch and on a hayride (with actual hay here in NC:-)) for the second time in a week! I'm pretty much all pumpkined out for this year.
The place you went looks so cute though! It's nice to fit in those obligatory, seasonal adventures now and again:-)
Love your plaid shirt and that big ole' watch...and that belt is my favorite belt ever!

That lemonade looks amazing. I also went to the pumpkin patch last week and had a great time. We even taped a YouTube video when we were lost in the corn maze.

I know for a fact what a tripping hazard a pumpkin field can be, so it's definitely a good idea they took the pumpkins elsewhere. My father used to grow several kinds of pumpkins as a kid, it just creates this mad tangle of ankle-height vines perfect for tripping in. I'd probably go pumpkin picking if I still had my car. It's funny seeing you wearing shorts in a pumpkin field though, much too cold for that here!

Looks like a lot of fun - the lemonade looks yummy! We did the pumpkin patch earlier in the month, it was okay - I remember lots of crankiness from my girl. It's been that sort of month ;o)

Oh golly. I love your checkered shirt. It looks great against the orange pumpkins! And that lemonade looks delish. I so want a jar full, this very minute.
