those who have followed know that i'm always praying for a cold day. today was no exception, and i was excited when i woke up with frozen fingers and toes. i layered up and headed out the door. my excitement quickly faded as i watched the temperature (gauge) rise. thought it would be fun to actually see how much the temperature changed throughout the day. i know many of you are experiencing some fierce conditions, of which i probably wouldn't survive, but,
really, this is freezing for us. the temperatures were taken from my car, so they aren't completely accurate, but you get the picture. another striped dress here. love the padded shoulder detail.
8:00 am, freezing. doesn't get too much colder than this. was wearing this when i left the house.
8:08am
8:33am
8:44am, warm. at work knowing i'll be miserable. time to crank up the ac.
2:45pm, hot. ditched the sweater. stockings next.
hair up, stockings off.

I'm in love with each element of this outfit... the dress, the sweater, the polka dots, the hint of sock beneath that bootie. Brilliantly styled! You look fantastic.

Love this post. Where are you from that it's still 94 degrees in December? I'm from SoCal and it isn't that hot here anymore, which is surprising for sure.

"...and i was excited when i woke up with frozen fingers and toes." WHAAT, i don't know where you live but does it have a little something special in the water because who actually enjoys being freezing cold?! i'm currently sleeping in a sleeping bag under my duvet because it's so cold at night...
However, despite your weird enjoyment of cold (!) i really like your outfit, especially the cardigan.
ahhhhhh your outfit is adorable.
I'm sort of in love.

haha- i enjoyed your whole ode to the cooler weather- i sympathize about the temperature- it's just slightly colder here in Rome, but we're all still bundled up as if it were like, 25º (meanwhile in other places, it really IS 25º)hahaha :P i love your outfit- that dress is so adorable with the black and white stripes! and it looks great with your leopard bag!!
