heavy metal.

this maxi has easily become one of my favorites.
i'm thinking of replacing the whole jeans + tee combo with this maxi + blouse combo. and probably maxi + tank top for the warmer months to come. it's just as comfortable.
must find this skirt in white.

a few people asked me about my accessories
and how i put things together.
i do have my favorites, but in addition to that, i usually throw on 10 things, whether they match or not. it's actually better if they don't match. then i take them off one by one until i like what i see. sometimes i come across weird combinations that actually work. today was one of those days where i didn't take much off.

Lovely outfit I'd want to wear this forever! I have the same method, I just layer until something works, haha.

I've been saying the same thing! Maxis are the best, most amazingly comfortable alternative to jeans, right? They let you move AND look girly :)

Love the one you got, especially styled with a simple tee. It looks great!

I don't think the DIY would be too advanced for a new sewer. I always try to go into great detail in my instructions, which I think might make things seem a bit harder, but if you just followed the instructions as you went (and feel free to email me if you need help along the way)I think you would see that it's actually quite simple!!
