red haute.

last week, i mentioned that i won a few giveaways and gave you a peek at this necklace. here is the prize in its entirety. this giveaway, hosted by julie at haute khuuture, was for one of eight packages (an item of clothing + accessory). among the eight items was a maxi dress, a leopard blouse, and a blazer...all of my favorites, right? instead, i chose this red vintage tunic for two reasons; it's color, and it's way out of my comfort zone...forcing myself to dress outside of the box.

in order to feel comfortable in this screaming red color, i dressed it down with boots and carried around this equally bright green satchel to pull some of the attention

away from the red.

i have since thrown this bib necklace over evvrything. i've been looking for one of these for a while now, and i think the void has finally been filled.
