weekend news.

ok, so i finally got this DIY done.
(remember i got side-tracked and did this sweater instead?)
i'm making use of some extra tees i had in storage. the fit is huge and boxy, but it is what it is considering it's a men's XL. i'll probably continue to morph it...maybe take some material off the back and lace it up.

also, this is day old hair revived using the TRESemme Fresh Start Dry Shampoo i wrote about here. unlike other powder formulas which are messy and just feel yucky, this aerosol formula is light, smells nice, and doesn't weigh down my curls. don't forget to check out this video for your chance to win a $500 target gift card.

lastly, i am featured in Be In Style's
latest Best of the Web series.
if you haven't heard of this site, be sure to check it out. they have a plethora of information on anything and everything. style tips, baking tips, pet tips, living green tips, home ideas, baby and mama tips, outdoor activities tips...you get the point.

how was your weekend?

told you there would be a lot of birthday cake.
we threw them all together for one final celebration.
(cross tee, DIY (similar)(similar); denim, abercrombie & fitch (similar)(similar);
bag, gucci (similar)(similar)(this one is cute! similar))

Eeeeepppp! AMAZEBALLS diy. I'll definitely be making one of these babies for myself. Is the leopard print a knit or woven fabric?

Lookin' ultra fab, sweets!! Happy Monday-ing. :D

Busy, busy woman! Love the shirt... you are so dang talented! Don't get me started on how much sewing and I DON'T get along!

Confession: I don't use dry shampoo.... I use baby powder! Haha! Should a hairstylist admit that for the internet world to see?

The tshirt looks great, everytime I see leopard print I totally think of you. You are the queen of rocking that print. And I have some "dry shampoo" spray that I really like too, it's hard to find stuff for my hair because it's so damned thick and everything weighs it down

I like how it looks now, but I think it'd be amazing if you added the laced back!

You need to find macaroons and have them. Immediately.
