inners as outers.

this was a weekend of celebration and remembrance.

a high school graduation and a funeral.

while it was nice to connect with family and friends

we haven't seen in a long time,

it's sad to think these are the only times we get together.

i didn't have a chance to take pictures of the outfits i wore to these events, but i had to snap a few photos of the hawaiian memorial park. it's up against the mountains, and the grounds are beautifully maintained. on this day, the clouds were low and the view of the mountaintop was just surreal.

 this is a dress that i normally wear under things,

like big chunky sweaters shown here.

however, its pretty tulle and ruffles deserved

to be worn outside...at least once.

i threw in the last photo only because i thought it was funny that mini-he's ball just happened to bounce on by.
