stars stripes and tie dye.

hot dogs, check.
good fun, check.
the first part of our long weekend was spent at home relaxing.
it started out drizzly and overcast, but the sun came out
just in time for an afternoon bar-b-que.
corn on the cob, sausage, steak, salmon, veggies, and our share of hot dogs were on the grill, along with the usual accoutrements...poke, soy beans, chips and dips, watermelon, festive cookies and frothy rootbeers. we picked up mini-she's friend to join in the fun and stopped at a botanical garden on the way. we didn't have time to go in, but i'm definitely putting in on my list of places to visit.

water balloons.
jumping fun.

I love playing tourist through your pictures :)
And I love how your kiddos's love those blow up bounce house things. 2 years ago Eric and I decided to play on one. I came out with a skinned up nose and chin. No joke. Haha our kids better never want to try those out cause I'm not taking them :)

Hi Becks, sorry for not getting back to you sooner. I know you were the only one to comment on that iPad cover giveaway. I got some guy saying that he posted and that it didn't show up. Don't know what thats about but he keeps emailing me about it. I sent him the thing so he would stop emailing me. Sorry for that, I will see if i can get another one.

Hi there!
It seems we are partnered up in Pam's accessory swap!!!!
I am looking forward to it!
My e-mail is retroreva@zoomtown.com

We can exchange addresses and if you would kind of tell me things you enjoy or thing you would never don, that would be great, as I don't want to make you feel 'goofy" in something as I am very indie/boho, but yet love vintage as well :)
Can't wait to meet you!

I love your maxi, by the way!
