festivus for the rest of us.

saying hello to october means...
the whirlwind of the holidays begins.
it'll go something like this:

round up local "birthday" goodies to send to my
homesick nephew in oregon by the 16th.
school harvest celebrations.
decorate the house for halloween.
procrastinate, then stress about costumes
and goodie bags for school.
carve pumpkins.
HALLOWEEN.
realize that mini-she's bday is the next day.
mini-she's bday celebration.
think about starting my christmas list.
THANKSGIVING coupled with sister #2's bday.
think about starting my christmas list.
buy and decorate christmas tree.
attempt to take (minis') christmas photos for our cards.
finally make christmas list.
school christmas programs.
send out cards.
christmas get-together with girlfriends.
stress and shop.
wrap gifts.
stress and shop.
wrap gifts.
CHRISTMAS.

today's lunch...local plate lunch consisting of brown rice,
chicken katsu, and the signature warm (from sitting next to
the hot items) tossed salad.
(skirt, bcbg (similar); top, f21(similar)(similar);
shoes, michael-michael kors (similar))

don't forget to come back tomorrow as:

Festivus!! I wonder why that one just never caught on... =) You look gorgeous in that color. And I love what you did with the necklace.

This is my favorite time of year, too. It seems like the next few months will be packed with fun and will FLY by. But I'm going to try to enjoy every second!

Gorgeous! In October, I only have one thing to think about and that's Halloween. Then it's a whirlwind after that when holiday preparations begin. Great to hear that you have a nephew in Oregon! That's where I am. What city?

Cute work attire outfit! Gosh I'm kinda dreading the holidays but also looking forward to it at the same time...

Come back to the big island just so we can all photoshoot again :) I found some sickening spots.

Have a good weekend love!

colder weather means more holidays to celebrate which means potentially more presents for me. so i'll celebrate whatever upcoming holiday there is! :)

Love the color of this top on you. You never see bright pinks like these anymore.

Oh my, I got nervous just by reading your list of things. It's still too early for Christmas.

Yeah, October definitely is the beggining of a whole lot of Holidays! (Especially for me since my birthday, my best friends birthday, my brothers birthday, and my mother-in-laws birthday is all in the same two weeks of October!). Cute outfit btw, you look very classy!

Oh I know! I have one son who's bday is in November, we do an annual Halloween party with about 40 kiddos, Thanksgiving and Christmas, etc., etc. I love it though--minus the snow. LOL. I love this blouse! So pretty!

Canadian Thanksgiving is actually next Monday. I never did understand why our Thanksgivings are on different days...

I just realized I was supposed to make and send out a personalized package to a person out in Oregon for a package-swap I'm participating in. I have no-thing for the package yet. Arrrrgh.

Gorgeous blouse! You look fab! Once October arrives it's like a high speed train until January. I mean we have so much going on in these 3 months than the rest of the year (or at least it feels like it - ha)!
