one down eleven to go.

january is gone, and in looking back at my resolutions,
here's a quick recap of the month:

sleep early - at least once a week. it's a start.
exercise - check! meet with the gang once a week then light exercise at home the rest of the week.
girl time - check! met up twice.
read - finished a book i started months ago.
one-on-one mini time - nope.
try something new - check! yoga.
fix laptop - nope.
organize posts - nope.

how was your first month of 2012?

iced coffee and a chocolate chunk cookie make
the afternoon traffic bearable.
(shirt, j crew; vest, old navy; denim, abercrombie & fitch (similar);
boots, nine west (similar))

You are doing much better with your resolutions than I with mine. Keep up the good work!
I do like how you went with a pink button up to add some femininity to the otherwise masculine outfit.

Oooh, I love that pink gingham shirt! You're doing pretty well with your resolutions. I'm failing miserably on the exercise front. But maybe I can jump back in after my little vacation, just in time to get into shape before summer...

it is good to see I am not the only one that may have forgot to keep a couple of resolutions. I didn't even stick out the atkins diet for a week....I blame the fact I got poorly though. Ahem x

Your resolutions are fantastic! I love that they are lifestyle changes and not just temporary things. The girl time is a total must. :)

First month was good...settled more into my new job, worked out schedules with the hubby so we get at least a couple evenings a week together...and landed a job as Director of Choreography for the musical "Grease"! This month is looking great :)

LOVE the pink gingham so easy chic. And I want some coffee now :)

Ahhh it feels like forever since I commented (how bad of me!) Anywho this year is going alright... I just started this thing of not eating meat it seems to be going pretty good. Seems like your keeping up to your resolutions as well! As for yoga, I tried it and I liked it but damnnnn it is a workout! But it really helps to lean your body out which I like! Love this and the last outfit, super cute! Hope your doing well :)

What a beautiful look. i love the pale pale tan (nude?) of your shoes and the way it softens a tough girl look. Just lovely.
