christmas shopping guide. JustFab.

our christmas tree usually arrives the first weekend of december; we're picking it up tomorrow. and usually once the tree is up, it starts to feel festive and in no time, christmas is here. i haven't started my shopping yet...haven't even made my list. as i do that this weekend, i'll definitely be turning to some of my trusted friends and blog partners for gifts i know friends and family will love, from places that i trust.

throughout the weekend, i'll be sharing some of my favorite picks from my favorite places in case, like me, you're still in need of gifts.

first up is JustFab. i'm a huge fan of their bags and shoes, but they also have apparel and jewelry. and with most items at $39.95, how can you go wrong? scroll through my blog, and you'll find that i'm sporting at least one Just Fabulous item in every outfit! here's a few you might remember:

i am currently carrying around the gallerista in tan. it's the perfect size to carry evvrything! i recently ordered the entice clutch because jeans + tee + heels wouldn't be complete without it, and i think the boxy uptown lace would be such a fun addition to a holiday outfit.

get festive with lakshmi and bowie. even moto boots sparkle with fun embellishments...and how cute are these marina flats? all of these would be perfect with jeans, dresses, or shorts.

mini style + small feet.

it's not often that i stalk websites.

until i want something. badly.

and right now, i'm wanting shoes. shoes that fit.

[begin rant]

as someone who wears a size 5 shoe, it's frustrating to find that more and more companies are not making or stocking size 5s. if they do, it's a very limited section of crap. small-footed women want cute shoes, too! so while my closet may be filled with shoes, you'll notice that i wear the same ones often...because they fit. for once, it would be nice to wear cute heels that aren't stuffed with inserts or boots that don't have to be double or triple socked. for once, i'd like to give my toes and heels a break from all the toe-clenching and rubbing i put them through just to keep my shoes from slipping off.

last year, i got lucky and found a cute pair at zara, so i've been frequenting their site in hopes of finding another one. nothing yet, but i did find this cute tee for mini-he. they have great deals on their spring/summer items, but they're going fast.

pure wicked.

i finally found my perfect tee...this v-neck from the GAP pure collection. i want to go back and get a white one, too. it's super soft but still has enough structure to not look sloppy. i've worn it with jeans and even tucked into a pencil skirt

for work...it's that versatile.

my weekend outfits are usually some variation of this. it's simple and unfussy which is my goal when chauffeuring the minis around. to complete the look, i make sure to wear a pair of oomph-worthy shoes, like these wicked spiked, leopard loafers. they really are wicked...the spikes are pointy enough that mini-he started crying when he stepped on my shoes. eek!

boot-iful shoes.

my apologies for the lack of outfit posts recently.

we've had a bunch of rain in the last couple of weeks which left me in a bit of a slump...resorting to comfy, non-presentable outfits and lots of repeats. fortunately, there have been several additions to the shoe-drobe.

i'm hoping these will walk me out of this rut.

i usually buy tan boots or something close to skin color, and this left a void in my shoe-drobe for basic black shoes. these are the perfect ankle height and the rubber soles are super comfortable. plus, these are actually my size. i rarely find boots in small size 5s...my feet are usually sliding around in size 6s. check out jenn in hers.

as i mentioned above, i am lacking basic black shoes...including a basic plack pump. funny how basics are hard to find. i wanted something with a platform and a chunkier heel. i came across these and thought they were the next best option, and they proved to be very versatile. i later found the love fury below.

it's funny how one person can make up your mind. i wouldn't have given these colorful shoes a second look...until i saw a girl trying them on. she was already dressed in workout clothes, and the shoes looked so good. it was a couple days before i was able to go back and get them. thankfully there was a coupon for $10 off and one size left for me. the flash makes them look really bright. ok, they are really bright. and i'm ok with that.

finally, a great basic black pump. the love fury has a slight platform and a pointed toe that is wide enough to give your toes room to breathe. it does have a stiletto heel, but it was comfortable enough to not be an issue.

this one looks really good in nude, too.
