fuzzy wuzzy was a vest.

while i would love to splurge on a new wardrobe every season, i limit myself to a few key pieces to update my closet for the season. for fall, i knew that one thing would have to be fur. but even in our coldest months, it's still 70 degrees and the sun is still blazing...so i opted for sleeveless. i like that this one has gray, black, and brown making it wearable in many combinations.

something old something new.

they say men will spend twice as much on something they need, while women will buy something they don't need just because it's on sale. so true. as if i needed another pair of black shoes, these bubble paper bag boots were on the sale rack...in my size. sold.

and i'm not much of a thrifter, only because there aren't any shops on my daily path of travel, but i went out of my way for halloween. and while searching for costumes, i took a quick peek down the aisles and a couple of things piqued my interest. one of them was this lace blazer, super cute and in excellent condition. again, nothing i really needed, but it was eight bucks...in my size. sold.

snagged vision.

sometimes things don't turn out the way you want them to. i was long awaiting the arrival of my leather shorts, which ended up on backorder. it gave me time to think about what i wanted to wear with it, and i had a vision. i was excited when the shorts arrived two weeks early, but disappointed to find they were too big. although i tried, i couldn't make them work and ended up switching to another pair of shorts, also worn here. then got in the car and snagged my stockings.
