getting out the door in the mornings has become quite the chore because of two things. juice and water. a few months ago, i caved and bought a TIGER stainless steel [water] bottle. depending on the style and size, these bottles can cost up to $60...but they are the bomb! it keeps my water cold all day. and, if i didn't eat them all, i'd still have tons of ice at the end of the day. it went on sale for $29 at my local drugstore, so i grabbed a couple. on a rare occasion, it goes on sale for $19, but you better be first in line when they open if you want one; they go fast. i figured i could take them on my hikes, but i now bring it to work everyday. the water just tastes good coming out of the bottle (maybe psychological!), and i can easily drink the liter throughout the day (whereas before i didn't drink any water while at work). 

i also started juicing in the morning. i try to drink it at home, but i usually don't have time to finish it all.

so...in addition to my coffee, i'm now carrying a

water bottle and a cup of juice.

and...that's in addition to my bag, my makeup bag,

and my lunch bag.

and...on occasion, i'll have my camera bag.

anyone else have this problem?

water, juice, and coffee...every morning.

yes, the paint is coming off my coffee cup, but i haven't found any other that is as spill-proof as this one. i've even dropped it, full of coffee, and the lid stayed on!

animal print mix.

this skirt is an animal print lover's dream. i spotted this skirt before i even walked into Patty's Closet. well, as soon as i walked in...and i went through the motions of trying it on even though i knew i was getting it. i was already sold on an animal print pencil skirt but was jumping for joy inside when i saw the zipper in the back. i'm wearing it with a sheer blouse also from Patty's Closet. the neckline and shoulders have pretty detailing that you can't see in these photos, unfortunately. the only fail was the blouse getting stuck in the zipper every time i used the bathroom. on one occasion, i actually had to leave the bathroom and get someone to help me. fashion always comes with a price, though, right?

lunch with a friend included pizza, salad, and my newest obsession...san pellegrino sparkling beverages.

long time readers know that i'm leopard's number one fan.

but after hearing someone refer to it as cheetah print, i figured it was time to learn the differences. after all, what kind of number one fan would i be if i didn't know exactly

what leopard print was supposed to look like?

here's what i learned:

- cheetahs have small, evenly spaced black spots.

- leopards have small, round, black & brown

clusters called rosettes.

- jaguars also have rosettes, but theirs are larger

and have black spots in the middles.

so, based on the larger rosettes and black spots in the middles, i'd say this pretty leopard print top i got from Patty's Closet [in Mililani Town Center] is actually jaguar. and i'd be doing the jaguars a great disservice by not giving them credit where credit was due. it was too late to change my photo,

but i did give them the title.
