august is gone, and in looking back at my resolutions,

here's a quick recap of the month:

sleep early - check! at least once a week.

exercise - check! running on the treadmill five nights a week. 

girl time - check! participated in relay for life.

 read - eek, no reading this month.

one-on-one mini time - school started this month, so we are adjusting to our new schedules.

try something new - check! participated in my first

relay for life, coffee jello.

fix laptop - nope.

organize posts - check! caught up on a review for

AliExpress and gave a few shout-outs to BISTM and

lovely obsessions.

i realized, when taking photos for this outfit here, that these shorts were really see thru. and for some reason, i always wear this top with black tights and boots. so these two worked out their issues and came together unexpectedly.

love when that happens.

ok, i'm catching up on some awards, but i'm always torn on choosing seven people to pass them on to. at one point i stopped choosing and gave the award to "all my fabulous readers."

i had an unsettled feeling...like i was doing everyone a disservice by not passing on the award. it feels good to receive, but even better to give. it's also a great opportunity to find out each other's quirks! so consider it a "tag" from me to share some of your quirks. and remember, there are those who have been tagged, and those who will be tagged.

huge thanks to hazal and cana of sisters and sisters for the stylish blogger award. being able to share clothes, it's endless wardrobe possibilities and double the pleasure here. they always look like they're having a great time with each other...reminds me of my sisters.
