BlogGo. an [oomph.] discovery.

lately, with my busy schedule, i don't have time to photograph and post as often as i used to, but i'm always snapping away with my phone, wishing i could share things with you at that moment.

with the BlogGo mobile app, i'm able to do this...right from my iPhone. i can create, edit, and publish posts directly to my Blogger blog. i can even approve and delete comments, insert photos from my camera roll, schedule posts, and even compose using HTML.

(JustFab denim; SilverSpeck ring)

in fact, i took this picture at work, now i'm on the field typing this out at mini-he's football practice, and i'm about to publish this post from my phone. it doesn't get any more convenient than that. if you're always on the go, this app will prove to be useful, even if it's just to jot down your ideas while you're at the coffee shop, on a lunch break, or waiting for the kids (then you can finish up from your computer if you like).

you can read more about BlogGo and get the app here.

emerald and topaz.

since i tend to wear a lot of neutrals, i have been making a conscious effort to add colorful pieces to my collection of accessories. plus, accessories are a great way to introduce color in small doses to your wardrobe. this bloomsbury bag in dark green was a no brainer. not only does it work with my favorite neutral, leopard [yes, it's a neutral in my book!], but it's totally on trend with spring's color, emerald.

i was immediately drawn to this blue jade ring. it's eye-catching, and the cool blue stands out against warm neutrals.

sponsor love. lovely obsessions.

the first time i introduced you to lovely obsessions, maria was just opening her online shop selling arm candy and other fun jewelry. since then, she has expanded to offer select clothing items and handmade accessories. i'm currently loving her chain link bracelets. best part is that she can customize them
to fit your wrist. here are a few of my favorites, but
head on over to her shop to see the rest.

bobby glam jewellery.

cats, owls, bears...it's a menagerie of animals, and i'm loving each one. the cute mini bear [ring], the cat [ears ring],
and ollie owl [necklace] have all nestled quite nicely
into my jewelry collection.
bobby glam, well known for their hair extensions, also has a charming collection of rings, necklaces, bracelets, and hair accessories at reasonable prices. i like the gold, vintage-style of the pieces i selected because it works well with my current favorites. take a peek at their selection...any piece, worn alone or with your current jewelry, would add a bit of whimsy to any outfit.

happy mistakes.

gone are the days of my crazy hair color. having worked in a salon, i've had every color from red to purple to blue to orange. but since acquiring the minis, i've opted to go natural simply because it's easier to maintain. every few months,
i do an all over color just to even out my ends that
can get lighter from the sun.
but...if there's one thing i can never remember, it's my hair [dye] color. i try to remember the number or the girl's face on the box, but as soon as i am standing in front of all those boxes, i draw a blank. i tried writing it down, but can never remember where i wrote it down. so, there has been some variation in my natural color...like the last time.
a little too reddish-brown.
i took advantage of this mistake and tried a DIY ombre by coloring the crown portion of my hair with a slightly darker-than-natural color. the result is subtle, but i like it.

what do you think of ombre hair? have you ever tried to diy?

this gold ring (above) is my go-to when i want a decorated hand with just enough bling. i have been looking for something similar in silver and finally found it at JGOOD (below).
it fits perfectly and arrived in two business days.

taking it back.

waaaay back.
super old blazer from the corporate office days and the first skinny denims i ever bought. while i'm still more comfortable in my floor-dragging flares, these skinnys are comfortable enough for a relaxed day at the office.

mini-he's birthday is coming up next week.
i'll be scouring pinterest for ideas. if you got any good ones,
throw 'em my way, will ya?

put in a good word.

a while back, i introduced you to JGOOD, a members-only online retailer of designer jewelry sold at up to 70% off retail.
i finally had a chance to place an order and could not be happier. i had several things on my wish, but i finally decided on the forever connected heart ring from their queen of hearts collection. i wanted to try something a bit more dainty compared to the cocktail rings i'm used to wearing, plus this one was gold and silver making it ultra versatile.

two things that i love about JGOOD:
- they stock rings in small sizes (size 5 for me!).
- super fast shipping - i ordered friday,
got the package on tuesday.

membership is free, and you get $5 to spend just for signing up.

in addition to their already reasonable prices, get 10% off your entire order with the code: OOMPH for the entire month of march.

they are currently offering free shipping on orders over $35.

p.s. they also have a collection for men!
